Inverse sparkles feedback (ISF)
This constitutes a new technique to improve the demodulator threshold, without a reduction in the IF or loop-bandwidth. This new system succeeds in eliminating all the disadvantages of a narrow bandwidth, such a smearing on black and white zones, high levels of noise within saturated colours or very harsh quality in the sound. The system enables successful signal reception at very low C/N level, even down to 2 dB. The result is an overall improvement of approx. 6 dB, which can be compared to 4 times dish size.

LNB power supply.
The receiver has a programmable power supply. The power supply can be digitally set to 0V, 13V, 15V or 18V. The supply voltage is short circuit proof. The LNB current can be measured. The max. LNB current is limited to 1Amp.

Mains power supply
The receiver has a build in 90-300V switch mode power supply 50 or 60Hz.

Modular construction
The whole receiver is build in a rugged but appealing 19" industrial housing. The receiver is constructed as a modular system. This technique allows easy access for maintenance or field upgrades. All boards are high quality dual layer or multi-layer boards. The module connectors are gold plated to ensure an error free operation!

Multi-norm receiver with transmission standard translation
The receiver can process PAL, SECAM and NTSC signals. The PAL and NTSC signal will be send transparent to the output as a PAL or NTSC signal. A SECAM signal is translated into a PAL signal without loss of quality. The SECAM to PAL conversion makes this receiver interesting for cable networks. The participants can then receive SECAM signals on a normal (single norm) PAL TV set. The transmission standard can be set fixed or switched automatically. The selected input and output mode is displayed by LED's.

Micro processor system control
With a 16 key keyboard and a 2 x 16 character LCD display as user interface. Limited options and even custom-tailored options can be build in later through software updates (EPROM changes).

Sound sub carrier receiver
The sound receiver is also synthesiser controlled and can be tuned within the range from 5 to 9.99 MHz in 10KHz steps. Mono or stereo receivers can be ordered. HiFi stereo sound with Wegener and DNR System. The three audio subcarrier demodulators set are fully synthesised. The operating frequency range is  5 - 9.99 MHz in 10 KHz steps. The de-emphasise 50 SYMBOL 109 \f "Symbol"S/75SYMBOL 109 \f "Symbol"S and J17 is switchable.

Inverse noise feedback sound demodulator (INF)
This constitutes a new technique to improve the Demodulators threshold and dynamic. An effective tracking system locks on the audio-signal and give always the optimum band width for a noiseless and free of distortion sound. This ensures a optimum Audio sound at very low C/N ratios.

Watch-Dog circuit
The Micro-processor has an independent monitoring circuit that monitors the normal operation of the system. If the monitor detects a system mall function then the micro-processor will be restarted automatically. All pre-stored receiver settings are automatically executed. The Watch-Dog circuit makes the SUPER RX 2000 i ideally suited for unattended use, common by cable distribution systems.
